Topic: Squid User Authentication

Hi,

I've been trying to setup squid so when a user opens their browser, they are required to authenticate themselves. I have read the squid docs, and searched the e-smith lists, but I am now so confused, I dont have any idea of what I'm supposed to be doing.

Can somebody please provide instructions on how I can configure squid to allow this.

The file in the above location will give you basic authentication from squid
