I upgraded a client's server from 4.1.2 to 5.1.2 last night. Although the upgrade went smoothly, this morning there is a problem with IMAP access from both Outlook and Outlook Express. In both cases, when connecting to existing accounts, the server seems to be rejecting the password for every user in the office. The same user/password combination works correctly via Webmail.
In the maillog, I see messages like this:
Mar 14 11:26:42 mistral imapd[5035]: Command stream end of file, while reading line user=mtancredi host=[192.168.1.76]
Mar 14 11:27:51 mistral imapd[5038]: Autologout user=mtancredi host=[192.168.1.76]
I see no errors in the messages file.
I have set up a tunnel and connected to the host from off-site, and set up a new OE configuration, and have been able to successfully connect.
Has anyone seen this issue? I've looked on the MS support site, but can find nothing that looks like this.
