i'm running the SME5.1.2 server and got the following problem.
I created a printer on the usb port. I installed the printer driver on my xp-machine, and xp said, the printer is ready to run. As i tried to print something, on the windows machine everything went ok, but my printer didn't print.
So i looked at the logfile of samba and found the following entrys everytime i wanted to print:
[2002/03/16 18:30:41, 0] rpc_client/cli_spoolss_notify.c:spoolss_connect_to_client(57) connect_to_client: Can't resolve address for TESTCLIENT
The name testclient is registered in my SME server, i tested this via 'ping testclient'.
What went wrong, any suggestion? Is this error message responsible for my printig problem?
