I seem to be having a problem with BIND shutting down unnecessarily. If you do a ps it actually is not shutdown, but it does stop functioning.
The resolution is to reboot the box. ndc restart does not seem to resolve any issues.
Does anybody have any suggestions? It has gotten to the point where it is so bothersome that I may have to use W2K for DNS services (and that is a last resort).
