Topic: Installing ldap-abook- no "make" command!

Following some instructions on installing ldap-abook on SME Server 4.1.2 on my 5.1.2 box, I came to an insurmountable problem- I don't seem to have "make", or indeed many other important development tools.

Is there a set of downloadable rpms with standard tools like "make" in? Otherwise it will be hard to install anything!

just install following package :

cpp-*.i386.rpm
gcc-*.i386.rpm
glibc-devel-*.i386.rpm
kernel-headers-*.i386.rpm
make-*.i386.rpm
