Works as single processor, but not as smp.

/var/log/messages reports:

pppd[1083]: ioctl(TIOCSETD(PPP)): Invalid argument(22)
pppd[1083]: This system lacks kernel support for PPP.  This could be because the PPP kernel module could not be loaded, or because PPP was not included in the kernel configuration.  If PPP was included as a module, try /sbin/modprobe -v ppp'.  If that fails, check t

Machine:
Tyan S1563D
2 ea 233MMX
128mb Ram
6gig SGTE IDE
40x Teac IDE CD
Adaptec 2940
ATI 8mb PCI Xpert at Work
10/100 Dlink DFE 530 TX
Ext USR 56k Voice Faxmodem Pro -> ttyS0

I presume I can install the RedHat sources and recompile?
If not, please advise me of alternative solutions.

Thanks

Grab all the RPMs from ftp://ftp.e-smith.org/pub/e-smith/e-smith-4.1/updates/RPMS/i386/.
There were some problems with the 4.1 release on smp systems, which are corrected by those updates.
