I have HylaFAX up and working with a Xyxel 1496E. The incoming faxes get emailed to me as Adobe PDF files. It works every time. Really sweet.
The HylaFAX email also has a link to the TIF file as shown above. Although at this point the TIF file is somewhat redundant, can anyone shed some light on making the link accesible? When you click on the link all you get is "The page cannot be displayed".
I can access the TIF file through CYPHEUS, using a TIF viewer, yet I am not completely satisfied with the viewer I have.
Any recomendations on a good TIF viewer? The Kodak viewer that comes with Windows2000 cannot always open the file. I have installed another viewer (InFanView) and it seems to open everything, but not quite as elegantly. Of course if anyone knows how to make HylaFAX make consistent TIF files that can be opened with the Koday imager this might help...
Adobe Acrobat opens the PDF files with no problem.
I will now start on figuring out how to send faxes elegantly. Any hints to speed up the process would be appreciated....
