Topic: EZMLM Mailing list problem

I have successfully installed EZMLM on a few v5 e-smith boxes.  I succeeded at creating lists that work but only from the local LAN.  None of the lists, as a subscriber or not, will allow me to post from an external machine.  I have messed around with several combination of the O, o, u, and m options nothing seems to help.  All I get is a 'user not local' error.  What gives?  

Any info would be helpful.
