Topic: Promise ATA 100 RAID SME Server 5.1.2

I have been reading http://www.e-smith.org/docs/howto/contrib/ata100.txt and have managed to get 5.1.2 installed onto the drive on the Promise RAID card.

My problem is that I cannot pass the options through at lilo interface as lilo is not used any more (I think it is GRUB). My question is how to I get to the command line interface (I have tried pressing "C" for command)and what are the options I need to pass to boot the OS.

I might be wrong but I can't remember ever seeing grub used on a redhat system. Make sure that you run /sbin/lilo as root after modifying /etc/lilo.conf
