I access my computer from work going through e-smith and I have no problems.
I use win2000 advance server which comes with terminal services for remote admin and WinXP that has remote access.
As for WinNT and Win9x you may have to use that software.
If you need help to setup Win2000 or XP you can email me for details.

nevermind got Tightvnc up and running perfectly
