Dear forums
How can i make my users' browsers use e-smith proxy without configuring the browsers for proxying (port :3128) ?

hi
this feature is already include in default config,
take a look in /etc/rc.d/init.d/masq, you will find
a line like this :
/sbin/ipchains --append input -p tcp --source LOCALNETWORK --destination 0.0.0.0/0 80 -j REDIRECT 3128

If the e-smith server is (the default gateway)... other wise you have to configure the proxy settings in the browsers.
