Topic: Fetchmail problem with SME 5.1.2

Hi all,

I have a problem after upgrading my 5.0 server to 5.1.2. I'm using Fetchmail - Multidrop to get my mail from my ISP. This worked fine with 5.0. but it
didn't with 5.1.2. It only collects mail when the line is already up. The same
happens with a fresh install of 5.1.2. Editing the Templates for
OfficeHours, Outside and Weekend to increase the timeout for the first
packets didn't help. Does anybody know what else I can try ???

Hi

Edit /etc/startmail so that it pings your mail server first. And that will bring the line up, and fetchmail can then pull you mail off
