I followed the min howto is this all I need to do and if so how do I acess ntop through my browser.I do not know the port number.

You have to start ntop webserver first.
Log in as root.
Type this command:
ntop -w 3000
In your browser enter this URL
http://yourdomain.com:3000/
Note, that port 3000 is just an example, you can use any available port.
You can also run this as a daemon, in shell prompt type:
ntop -w 3000 -d

Thank You very Much. Now I browse to it but I all I am receiving is "No Data To Display (yet)" its been an hour. Is this normal or is somthing wrong.

Looks like ntop is not monitoring your eth0.
What rpms did you use? I installed the following:
ncurses-5.0.12.i386.rpm
ntop-1.1-1.rh6.i386.rpm
No additional configuration performed.
Tested and worked on ES4.1.2 SME5.0 SME5.1.2
