Hi there,

I am using with E-Smith 5.1.2 for a couple of months now. Very satisfying.
Only now I have a major problem:

Everything works just fine, only no internet (port 80 problems).

I have the following configuration:

Internet from @Home (dhcp with fixed hostname)
E-Smith 5.1.2 with the last blade installed.
Configured on E-Smith:
- gallery
- phpmyadmin
- webconsole
- phpforum
- guestbook
My client is Windows XP

Everything works just fine:
- MSN Messenger
- Kazaa MEdia Desktop
- ICQ
- E-mail via MS Outlook
- Webserver (everybody else can reach my homepage)
- Server-Manager (because this is port 980!

Only Internet via MS Explorer 6 doesn't work. This is no DSN issue, because it even wont work based on IP address.

Has anybody got the answer to this annoying problem? The funny thing is that my brother experiences the same problems (he has almost the same configuration). He had to re-install his E-Smith to solve it. And that is something I don't want to do.

Hi, i have the same trouble, i think that is nimda virus that block squid, see the log squid acceses, but i don't know, how i can do block the nimda traffic from squid?

/etc/rc.d/init.d/masq restart

the above line is the solution (read it in another topic)
