As I read the boards here I have been noticing a lot of people with problems FTP'ng to their machine with 5.1.2 from outside the LAN. I too have the same problem however today I found out something really weird. If I have a computer on my internal network connected to the E-Smith server via VPN Anybody on the WAN can connect to ftp without any problems (and it is really fast?) As soon as the internal VPN connection is terminated than no one on the WAN can connect ???????????????
I am very dissapointed that no one at Mitel will even acknowledge any problem with the FTP in 5.1.2 I have put in many hours trying to isolate this problem but have had no luck.
If anyone has experienced this and has found a remedy or just found something that temporarily fixes the problem please put in a reply to this message
