i have been through all the posts and i can find the info at all.

i want to run policys on a 98 system.

i need to specfiy groups ie

Staff
Users

If i add then via the server-manager.
they are not listed nor work

if in the policy manager i add a USER eg User1 and logon they get the policy

but i dont want 600 users

is they any way round this.

cause i want to get a way from using windows 2000 server ( way over the top for a school)
