ISA cards and PCMCIA
« on: June 13, 2002, 11:11:05 AM »
I've got an ISA adapter for my pcmcia drive in my e-smith server.

I'm using it to install a Dlink DWL-650 wireless NIC.

I've used pnpdump to create a configuration file and run isapnp with the config file and it seems to work. However I still don't have access to the PCMCIA drive.

Was wondering if anyone could outline the steps necessary to enable the drive, the card or point me in the direction to look?

I am a Linux newb and could really use the help.

Thanks in advance.

I've followed the PCMCIA HOWTO already I am able to run cardctl ident and get the correct id of my pcmcia card back.

I've installed the libraries in order to "make" the DWL-650 drivers perhaps that is where I am lacking? I am not sure how to see that the 650 drivers are in fact being loaded
