Some months ago I posted here about trying to write a FAQ to cover some of the basic configuration commands and some general (and even generic) tips & tricks which received some favourable comments.
I wanted it to be a quick reference guide for E-smith generally.
I have now started to put something together in a limited form. There were some people who indicated that they had various material that may be suitable. If so, can they post here, or mail me.
Anyone with any suggestions for inclusion, tips & tricks of their own etc then please contribute accordingly.
Typical things are how to enable / disable various services, but NOT necessarily a list of all the services themselves.
But it MUST be fairly generic - I don;t want to go down the route of trying to configure individual bits of hardware for instance - unless it's a very well known issue.
I am now subscribed to the developers mailing list and can be contacted through there as well.
Anyone who wants to help me specifically then please contact me accordingly. I have never done one of these before, and I'm not sure that I am best qualified to do so !
