I recently installed a mail/webserver at our school. webserver is doing fine using the the following domainname:
www.oursubdomain.schooldomain.ac.at. Our central networkservices registered the new DNS-entries mail.oursubdomain.schooldomain.ac.at and ftp.oursubdomain.schooldomain.ac.at, 3 days ago and ftp works fine from outside , when I allow 'pubic' ftp. BUT mailservice doesn't work till now. hostnames in sme-servermanager shows the correct names for mail, www and ftp. Everytime I send a mail via webmail or via any mailclient from a local machine I immediatly get a reply from MAILER DAEMON@oursubdomain.schooldomain.ac.at. the message says that:"

Connected to 213.165.64.100 but sender was rejected.
Remote host said: 552 {mx010-rz3} Cannot resolve your domain
is our subdomain still not known by the dns-servers, or is there something not well configured on our server ???
