Remotely upgrading SME 5.1.2 to 5.5

Remotely upgrading SME 5.1.2 to 5.5

I have a remote server that I would like to upgrade to SME 5.5.  Is there anyway to do this via SSH or remotely?

There should be a way to mount an iso off of a boot floppy over the internet.... but then we would still not be totaly remote.....
