Topic: Large IDE drives

My server is now up running with two 80Gb disks in a software RAID 1 config. It works great!

My Asus P2L97 has BIOS rev.1009. The two disks are set up as master on one IDE channel each.

The disks are set up in the BIOS as:
  Type: AUTO   Mode: NORMAL

I'm about to do it myself, but you might like to set up RAID monitoring now. There is a HOWTO by Darrell May at http://www.e-smith.org/cgi-bin/contrib.cgi, but I think it may have moved as the site did not respond. Any one know where to find it now ?
