Topic: imp poblem on upgrade

Hi all,
I have upgraded a 5.1.2 to 5.5 then loaded a backup onto the system. Everything works except Imp. When i go to the 'webmail' page it comes to the entry screen with these two errors;
Some of Imps config files are missing......
html.php
mime_drivers.php

I have reloaded the ipm files and no luck. Is anybody able to point me in a direction to look at.

in server-manager try to disable and enable webmail...

  the server-manager does not do any with his problem,,,,,

   i have here a Squirrel mail for your solution ,,it acts the same as your imp and it's better,,,,,please go to our website http://www.redwood.com.ph/mitel  ,,,hope this will help ,,this is an rpm package so dont worry in configuring it,,,,,you can use this one until we find a solution to your problem ,,,then ill email you back

...or, instead of changing the whole webmail interface for no good reason, just copy the .dist files to the appropriate .php ones:

# cd /home/httpd/html/horde/imp/config
# cp html.php.dist html.php
# cp mime_drivers.php.dist mime_drivers.php

Now, why these didn't get put there in the first place I don't know, as it seems they should have, but this should fix the problem.

Thanks Dan, tried your solution but the same error message appeared after a restart of 'httpd'. I don't know if ti makes any difference, but the backup was from a ESSG4.2 setup. The 5.2.1 install was to different partition sizes and then a upgrade to 5.5. The reason for that order was that 5.5 won't accept a custom partition table setup....
Again thanks for your suggestions... I'll try a fresh install again..
