Compatability with Windoze/NT

Hi,

I'm running a small network at home NT/Windoze and have just started to also play with Linux. I hve never been completely happy with my proxy server/firewall (Midpoint Gateway) and thought I'd give e-smith a go. How compatible is it with NT/windoze. I'm running NT Server as the PDC, several NT/95 workstations and currently a standalone Red Hat.

Are there any problems that I can expect, currently downloading and will install later in the week. Sorry if this is a bit vague, but I thought I'd leave a message incase anyone has had similar experience, probably on  a larger scale though!

Thanks

Kim Morrison

Jamie,

Our e-smith server and gateway behaves like a Windows file server and you can select the work group it shows up in.  It doesn't have the full set of NT PDC capabilities though, but it should work fine on your network.

So I see no reason why you shouldn't go ahead.

Good luck with our software!
