Topic: vpn and ftp questions

hello one and all

I am hosting several domains with my esmith box, as well as the box being the firewall and router for our company. So now I have a couple of questions regarding remote access.

1. I am allowing VPN to the box and everything works fine -except any user has full permissions over all my ibays. How can I change this so I can limit vpn to users ibays. Bearing in mind the ibays need unrestricted access for http traffic, but password protected ftp

2. I need my ibays to publich web pages (no password required for http) but closed for ftp. At the moment thanks to Jon all my ibay owners are able to ftp - read - write - overwrite. But my last problem is that any legit ibay user can ftp with any old password ( it seems to be ignoring the password checking - as long as something is in the password field it works). I have tried looking at the templates and custom-templates. But in a word, I am a complete noob, so I have had no luck.

I would be willing to pay someone to fix the ftp problem
