PPPoE and dialin

My SME Server V5.5  connects to the internet using one DSL connection using PPPoE, but I need to open access to some users that will use a PPP connection fron their homes. I found in the contributed How-Tos that installing mgetty and a dialin rpm I can grant access via PPP to some users. My question is:

Can I use this if I connect a modem to ttys0 and a phone line, and at the same time have my internet connection over DSL?

Hi,

why don' t you use the built in PPTP VPN access? With Win98 and above the VPN client is built in and you might be able to save money when your users are using internet instead of a dail in connection.

Cheers,

Becuase using PPTP the person that have to access, first have to be connected to the internet, so they need to have an account with an ISP.
They want to access to the server directly. I have tried PPTP and it worked relativetly fine, I used Windows XP as a client.
I want to know if there isn't a conflict between dial-in and PPPoE.

Thank you
