Can someone please explain to me what is the purpose of having the system as the workgroup./domain controller. Like what exactly does it do for me on the local network as well as remote? Does my Win98 client need to be configured differently such as enable it as the WINS server?
I'm sure this is a question I could seach on throughout the net, but I thought I'd hcheck here first.
