In my setup, both ends are dsl with unmetered data costs,. I was enquiring more from a reliability perspective.

The only trick in the procedure for me was establishing an ssh connection using the command prompt ( ssh
) in order that the server-manager panel buttons may then do their initial authentication. But this is dealt with in the howto, and it works.
