Hello Daley.

If you want use full speed you have to have external ISDN modem. because sme doesn't suport 2 channels for internal isdn cards. At least i couldn't get it run properly. If you want only 1 channel to operate then you can have all most anykind of card becausse they use mostly same isdn prosessor. I did solve this internal-gard problem by installing another isdn routerbox wih www.fli4l.de onedisk router sofware.

Hope that this helps you.

Hi,

in the past I used a 'ACER T50' without any problems. No need for driver (unlike AVM Fritz!-Box ?), etc. It's possible to use 1 channel or automatic 2 channel.

Hi,

Is that means almost all the external / internal and as well as the USB ISDN modem is workable for SME 5.5?

Sorry but I don't know for the external one.

In the past there have been many topics in these forums about external ISDN modems. Try a search with 'external ISDN' on all dates.

Hi Daley

What i know all external ISDN modems are suported, exept usb modems.
just use them as any other external modems and it will work out.
