Is there a utility or something to show the current status of the ISDN modem, whether it has dialed up, how long for, etc.?

There is a linkstatus rpm that can be found at
ftp://ftp.e-smith.org/pub/e-smith/contrib/StephenNoble/RPMS/noarch/

After installing, goto http://yourserver/linkstatus.jpg. This displays a red
or green image is the line is down or up. I've also tested with ISDN and
works well.
