how can i block a particular ip address from accessing the internet? If i use squid (proxy users) in the server manager it still lets people out with a password so if the dont have access they can get out on a users password that does. How can i stop this?

I use squidguard3 and proxy authorization to limit how can enter the internet and what sites can they visit.  the proxy authorization can be downloaded from www.e-smith.dyndns.org and squidguard3 you need to make a search at google for it

Depending on the size of your network you could also stop DHCP services on your SME server and assign static IPs to your workstations ... some get the gateway/DNS info assigned, those that don't ... no Internet.  Email would still work, though, if you're using the SME server or another machine on the LAN as a mailserver.
