This is the second time (about 2 months apart) that the server has locked up. No one can access the server and the main console is flooded with messages like "/var/qmail/... file system full", etc. Apparently, all system message writes are being blocked by what the system thinks is a full file system.
I was unable to break into the system to gracefully shutdown so had to resort to a hard shutdown with the power switch. Then it required a boot and reboot to get everything working.
At this point I can review the /var/log/messages file and check disk space. I can't find anything in the messages file to help resolve the issue and disk space is 36.5 GB free on one drive and 43.8 GB free on the second one. /boot has 11 MB free.
Anyone else run into problem like this?
