mail configuration

hi there, I would like to configure my e-smith to download mail from a popaccount and deliver to a specific user account. (ie: all mail waiting at account@popserver.net.au to be delivered to e-smith user account outside).

Also I would like to restrict access to e-smith users that can send e-mail to one or two user accounts.

Can this be done, and if so how?

Please ignore the posting below, the e-mail address got screwed up.

Steven:
There is a thread on this forums where this subject has been discussed, I dont remember exactly but try "multifetch instead of multidrop" to search the forums (search within all dates)

I am doing the same thing with my @home mail account. It downloads my mail every hour from @home and delivers it to my user account so I can read my mail through IMP (webmail).

Can't help you there.

not easy at all. assuming you've got said users logging in to workstations connecting to an e-smith boxen, a workaround would be to not set up a client e-mail facility for them. if you use the webmail, then that doesn't help you at all ;) i would suggest that you look at the qmail docs (located @ www.qmail.org), but i don't know how much that will help you. that's a tricky one.
