Topic: Custom Login Scripts

I have started making my own custom login scripts. It will be the standard netlogon.bat, in addition I want to add a Visual Basic front end/Splash screen.

All is well so far with the netlogon.bat. I am starting the VB app now and am having trouble finding information about, how to get information from the Mitel box such as:

current user, servername, IP address, connecting machine name, etc. etc.

I have seen custom scripts like kixtart which have their code embedded in them.

Does anyone have any ideas how to extract that info. from the Mitel box?

Getting from the VB app on the client to the Mitel box is no problem I just cant figure out how to ask the Mitel box for this info.

Any help would be gratly appreciated ........

Search the fourms here looking for Kixstart. I know this subject has been gone over before and you should be able to find the information. (Do a search on older topis and not just recent ones.)

look in the contributions and you will find a login script rpm that works and is very easy to use
