Hi all,
I wonder if someone is able to help me. I am running e-smith 5.1.2 and have been for some time. It is patched up-to-date. I have webmail configured using using a secure connection only. It works fine on almost all PC browsers and platforms, no problem there.
However, I have been trying to access it using the Palm browser shipped with the latest Palm PDAs. The browser supports a secure connection and https does work on other sites. However when trying to connect to my e-smith server it times out with error 403 (connection refused). The error log on the server shows the following:
22/Dec/2002 12:42:54 29019] [error] SSL handshake failed (server
secure.myservername.net:443, client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) (OpenSSL library error
follows)
[22/Dec/2002 12:42:54 29019] [error] OpenSSL:
error:14094412:lib(20):func(148):reason(1042)
A trawl of the 'net has left me none the wiser, although I did see a reference to "big time difference", and interestingly when I execute a ping command on the server I get the message: "Warning: no SO_TIMESTAMP support, falling back to SIOCGSTAMP". Probably no connection, but I didn't get this before the last update. :-{
TIA
David.
