Hello people,
I just installed a backup server but when I reboot it the network cards configuration disappear... I tried to see the configuration with "ifconfig" but only displays the loopback interface. Then I typed "ifconfig eth0" and displayed some data but when I tried once again to set up the eth0 interface, it says "SIOCSIFFLAGS: Resource temporarily unavailable".

I was trying the same way to setup the eth1 card but even the "ifconfig" says there is no network card present aka "eth1: error fetching information: Device not found"... but I'm sure there are 2 of them.

Are you network cards supported ?

"SIOCSIFFLAGS: Resource temporarily unavailable" can also be caused by an interrupt / IO port conflict. Try moving slots. Also try one card at a time.
