is it possible to install a graphical interface on e-smith ? i want to have Direct Connect running on it

ofcourse it is possible, ut do you want it.

There are no X components installed which is required for any graphical stuff. Next to that your on your own concering dependencies en most important _securty_.

It was not designed to run any x-factor. My advise, use another distro for that e.g. redhat, mandrake or suse
