SARG via PuTTY SSH?
« on: December 30, 2002, 02:38:33 AM »
Hello,

Could someone please tell me what I need to do to be able to access my SARG reports via PuTTY SSH session?

I have set up and configured PuTTY via SSH so that I can connect to my SME 5.1.2 server via http://localhost:980, and that works great.  BUT I can't access the SARG reports from the link in server-manager or by going to http://smeserver/squid-reports.  When I am on my LAN though I am able to use the http://smeserver/squid-reports and that works great!  What am I doing wrong or missing?  Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,
Drew

Okay...since there have been no responses - this is either a ridiculously easy and silly question to be asking, or it is the most difficult of all problems one can face while running SME.  Which is it?  I'll take ANY responses...someone...anyone...ideas...thoughts!?!?

I assume that maybe I might need to forward a different port under PuTTY (like the 980 - localhost:980 which gets setup to access the server-manager) but what us that and how is it done?

  Thanks.

/squid-reports is served by httpd, port 80
But I think I don't understand what you're asking.
Please write me an email, I tend to miss forum posts.
