Qmail timestamp
« on: January 05, 2003, 11:45:03 AM »
I'm battling with a mail timestamp problem with phpGroupWare, and in checking what is happening, noticed that qmail appears to always use GMT for its timestamp:

Received: (qmail 26218 invoked by alias); 4 Jan 2003 04:23:45 -0000

Is this normal behaviour, or do I have another factor to address? My server's BIOS is set to GMT, with SME Server set to America/Vancouver (PST).

I'd appreciate any feedback from anyone who knows how qmail does things.

Thanks,

It's normal, or at least, it's how qmail does things.
