When I add users in the server panel, the groups I checkmark are not assigned to the user. The server panel looks right, but the linux command "groups" shows that the user is only added to the shared group.
The server panel "Groups" works fine.
I run SME 5.5u2.
I can't figure out what the problem is. It HAS been working when I originally installed the server.
You might ask what I have been doing with my server.
1. I have installed a fex rpm's (developer and user-panel).
2. A script that was run by mistake, chmod'ed all files in directories from an ibay up to the root (/) level (chmod'ed and made a cd .. a few times). User access rights have been restored manually since, so I don't think this could be the problem.
Any help is valuable to me.
