Topic: Installation errors

Hi

While installing SMS 5.5 my screen gets all messed up and i can read the following error

'installation exited abnormally - receivced signal 11'
'sending termination signals ... done'
'disabling swap...'

and that is alll.

can anyone help me?  is there a failure in an y of my hardware?  I tried new CDROM, new hdd...still getting the error...
