Topic: IMAP read only folder?

Hello,

I'd like to have an imap account with read-only access.

Or call it a shared folder, if you prefer... the point is that the user should be able to read from his client all the emails, but he shouldn't be able to move/delete them.

I tried by simply "chmodding" u-w the mail directory and its contents, but the client (OE) gave problem when syncing.

Any idea, please?

I'm looking for the same thing: read-only mail folders. As Frederico said, chmodding doesn't work. Anyone any ideas?
