I have installed e-smith on an dual cpu (PCI/I) System.
there are two NIC´s
1. 3com 595 TX -- (detected but not working)
2. 3com 509b ISA (not detected but it has worked for one bootperiod
)
I´ve spent many hours trying to run both NIC´s and set esmith up as default.
esmith up is now default but the NIC´s wont work.
a try with: "/sbin/e-smith/db configuration set EthernetDriver2 3c509" and then "/sbin/e-smith/signal-event console-save"
worked fine but just as long as i tryed:"/sbin/e-smith/db configuration set EthernetDriver1 3c595" and then "/sbin/e-smith/signal-event console-save"
can anyone help an linuxnewbie ?
