Topic: SME 5.6 PHP problems

Has anyone else experienced these issues wih SME 5.6 and PHP in default configuration??

No parse error messages displayed from faulty code (blank page)
PHP not operating on primary site
Default include path not created
Class will not work even if directory is manually created

I have loaded another PC with the default install to see if I had somehow broken the system while uploading but the problems where there from clean install.

Any feed back would be much appreciated.
