Topic: netatalk config files

I was just wondering why netatalk has two configuration folders (/etc/netatalk and /usr/etc/netatalk) -- it appears that the template is for /etc/netatalk, however, it appears that netatalk uses /usr/etc/netatalk for the actual configuration information .. what gives?

That is no longer the case in 5.6.

The netatalk developers took a while to make their minds up. That caused us rather too much grief during 5.5 development

Cool.. thanks for the info ... sooner or later that server will be upgraded to 5.6 .. but the uptime has been so good it would be a shame to see it shutdown for the upgrade.. hehe..
