I hope that I am making sense here.  So to make sure you understand, when I send an email to my server, using outlook (sales@techeshop.com) I am getting a smtp error from my isp stating no such address.  I can send mail out fine.  But no one can recv emails except inside the webmail internally.  Is it possible to recv mail outside the network?  What do I have to do?

Are you trying to use the SME's SMTP server from outside the LAN? That's not allowed, as it's what's called an open relay. Install Damien Curtain's SASL contrib if you want to add SMTP authentication for external access.

I get the same error. I am on the inside of the network trying to mail out.

It only started doing this within the last month or so. Could be a problem with an update. I did try to upgrade to sme5.6, but it wouldn't work., so went back to sme5.5 and update3.

any ideas.
