hello i've read a lot of subject about portforwardibg on sme 5.6
ok now i've installed a lot of rpm but it doesn't work at all

what i've to do in order to have portforwading to work.

i've tried this rpm:
dmc-mitel-portforwarding-0.0.1-4.noarch.rpm
dmc-mitel-portforwarding-0.0.1-5.noarch.rpm
dmc-mitel-portopening-0.0.1-3.noarch.rpm
 e-smith-packetfilter-1.13.0-04.noarch.rpm
e-smith-portforwarding-0.1.0-20.noarch.rpm

what to do ??

Ok,

All you need for 5.6 are

dmc-mitel-portopening-0.0.1-3.noarch.rpm
e-smith-packetfilter-1.13.0-04.noarch.rpm
e-smith-portforwarding-0.1.0-20.noarch.rpm

When you say it does not work, what do you mean

Thanks for your help but i've resolved my problem. I found some rpm and it works !!
now i'm able to have edonkey and port 4662 to work.

anybody willing to put step by step instructions for install and setup of port forwarding?
does these rpms work with 5.5?
5.5 seems to be fine and scared to upgrade to 5.6? is the latest?

Are you willing to share youre experience? I'm having the same difficulties as you are.

The pb is that there is a lot of rpm to foward port on sme 5.6.
I'll give you rpm that i use.

Try it

dmc-mitel-portopening-0.0.1-3.noarch.rpm
e-smith-packetfilter-1.13.0-04.noarch.rpm
sme-portforward-1.0-5.noarch.rpm
sme-upgppp-1.0-1.noarch.rpm


install all this rpm that you could easily find on contrib's site and it should work.
At least its works for me.

So I searched the FTP site, I even downloaded the entire FTP site, but I cant seem to find teh next two files:
1. sme-portforward-1.0-5.noarch.rpm
2. sme-upgppp-1.0-1.noarch.rpm

Is it possible for someone to mail it to me?
