I've been reading several posts that indicate dual Athlons are not an option for < SME 5.6:

Also, that there are problems with the Tyan 2466-4M dual Athlon board in SME 5.6 beta versions:

Is anyone currently using a Tyan S2466-4M with dual Athlons successfully with SME 5.6? My boss wants to upgrade our hardware with this particular board. We are currently running SME 5.1.2 and will be upgrading to 5.6 soon. Any other recommendations for MP boards, Athlon or Pentium?
