Hi,

It may not be the new topic, but can someone advise me what to do the above, i am currently running sme 5.5u3.

edit file  /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/services/10standard
near EOF is squid listening port,
then expand template as always

that's it!

That you have installed the e-smith-squid rpm, in the server manager panel it contains a feild you can use to change the ports :-)

Compare to the 10standard and changing it inside the e-smith-squid rpm, w hat are the differences?

Daley,

The only difference is that if you have to manually edit the file, you have to create the template and then expand the template, where using the Proxy Users panel takes 2 seconds to type in the port and hit save!
