hi,

i just install 5.6 and update it with update2 and got the following error:

Could be.  I just installed the updates the same way and everything installed correctly.

i've got the same problem. only i can't figger out how it came. i'm running 5.5U6

even when i remove a RPM, i getting the error.
i don't can remove the RPM's with the normal -e command

I've found.

just rebuild the database with:

rpm --rebuilddb


worked for me.
