HI! I have SME 5.5 installed as a firewall/server and it is exhibiting some odd behaviors I cannot explain.
I have been looking at my squid.access.log and wondered what the different terms mean:
TCP_MISS
TCP_REFRESH_MISS
TCP_HIT
TCP_IMS_HIT
TCP_DENIED
I think the last one is obvious - my dansguardian is working! But I've noticed that some files that should be caught by dansguardian and appearing in the dansguardian access log as DENIED are actually appearing in the squid log as "TCP_MISS".
At one time I had squidguard installed but had to remove it and install dansguardian because I wanted to be able to have more control over specific IPs on my network (I have a family network and occasionally have to block web access). I am wondering if some of the odd behaviors are artifacts from squidguard components that may have not been completely removed.
I would appreciate some insight as to where to look!
